EMF shielding Fabrics

Description

Technical characteristics of EMF Shielding Fabric:

This fabric is one of the most recent innovations in a combination of metalized nylon and cotton fabric (cotton and silver fibers) with the following compositions:

45% cotton (Cotton fiber is Gossypium), 20% polyester and 35% silver fiber.

The silver used in this fabric is also silver jewelry type that melted out by using sophisticated technology to produce silver fibers. The combination of these two natural substances improves the performance of these fabrics in applications of electromagnetic shielding clothes with antibacterial, antifungal and anti-odor properties.

Advantages of EMF Shielding Textile:

  1. EMF shielding up to 99%.
  2. Antibacterial: Silver fibers have prevented the growth of the bacteria and germs which caused by sweating, contamination, or etc and completely eliminated them.
  3. Antifungal: Silver fibers have a high potential in antifungal applications due to the ability of penetration in the cell membrane which causes the death of the fungus.
  4. Anti-odor: Silver compounds have crucial roles in the elimination of odors (changed or completely eliminated).
  5. Body temperature adjustment: Becuase of high thermal conductivity of these fabrics, it makes the body cool in the summer by proper air circulation and in winter, fabrics would maintain the body temperature.
  6. Environmentally compatibility: These products haven’t any harmful environmental effects according to European Standards and are made from natural materials and also have not any harmful effects on the skin or the surrounding area.
  7. Stylish and comfortable: The design of this textiles are soft and delicate which physiological comfort is given to the body because of natural hydrophilic fibers.
  8. These fabrics are manufactured under the supervision of the International Standard GB12014-89.
  9. Respiratory and durability: These textiles have high durability due to the use of metallic fibers, rather than chemical composition, with high washing and abrasion stability. Also, due to the use of natural hydrophobic fibers, it will provide a high level of breathability and coolness to the skin.
  10. The safety, quality and EMF shielding properties of these fabrics are evaluated by the supervision of  Shenzhou International Agency. And also the effectiveness of these products was performed by the Shanghai Medical Research Center. The effectiveness of these products is around  30-40 (dB) which eliminates more than 98% of the electromagnetic waves.
  11. Resilience: Due to the use of elastic fibers, these textiles have high elasticity which can be suitable for all day long use.

EMF Shielding Fabrics Washing Instructions

  • Wash the clothes with hand in a slow manner. The cotton yarn is sensitive to water pollution and can be damaged.
Water which is used to wash is required to be free from salt and chlorine, and it is better to use water purified, refined water or mineral water.
  • The sweat of the body can also reduce the life of silver, so if you are sweating very much, it’s better to wash your clothes to be free of sweat.
  • Use non-acidic detergents such as gentle, non-bleaching shampoos, such as baby shampoos.
  • Washing temperature: below 40 ° C.
  • Do not use a laundry
  • Do not squeeze the clothes
  • Do not place under the sunlight for long periods of time
  • Do not use a hot iron
  • It should be noted that the clothes may turn shorter several times after the initial washing can be caused. This Dehydration is normal and there is no change in the efficiency of clothing, so the length of clothing is considered a few centimeters bigger.
  • Fabric size: 1.5 meters in width
  • Fabric weight: 86 g/cm 2
  • Color: Gray Silver
  • Shielding Frequency range: 10 MHz to 20 GHz
  • Shielding Efficiency: 50 to 55dB
  • Surface conductivity: 5 ohms/ inch
  • Ingredients: Silver and cotton or TENCEL

EMF Shielding Fabrics

In the case of TENCEL fabrics:

This fabric consists of the Eucalyptus or Cotton fibers which is similar to cotton fibers and much smoother surface than all threads, due to its nanostructures.

When TENCEL fabric is washed, the smooth surface of the fibers prevents the lime residue from staying on the textiles and thus maintains its luminosity. After several times, washing the fabric of the TENCEL is still transparent and retains its color and texture, while in the case of other fibers this is not the case, and after exposure to erosion and washing several times the fabric structure is not recognizable and its color also changes very much.

Because of the nano-specific feature of the tannin fiber, it is able to transmit moisture well. In tannin fibers, there are channels in its structure that can easily absorb moisture and transfer it to the outside and create an optimal mode of moisture transfer. And so in a climate of excessive body transpiration, it transports body moisture to the open air and, where the skin is dry, moisture transfers the environment to the body, this kind of fabric gives a better feel.

Properties of silver in EMF Shielding Fabrics: Silver metal has anti-infectious or antibacterial properties. Of course, silver disinfectant properties were known from the past. For example, putting silver jewelry on wounded wars, or keeping milk and dairy in silver cases of anti-bacterial properties of silver. But the shrinkage of silver ion particles will increase the silver surface, and thus increase its reactivity. So coating the silver on fibers, in addition to creating anti-electromagnetic properties, creates antiseptic properties in the fabric which bacteria and fungi cannot grow and proliferate.

  •  Reduces unpleasant odors.
  •  The antistatic fabric stays.
  •  The fabric which is containing silver fibers, while maintaining a biological balance between refreshing skin and product.
